LEAVE ELIZABETH EDWARDS ALONE!

I watched cable and network news well into the night and I have to say that I'm a little tired of all the bashing against Elizabeth Edwards.  I heard all kinds of remarks like...

"Why did she write this book?"

"What does she have to gain out of writing this?"

"Why now?"

"Maybe this is some sort of healing process for Elizabeth."

"She stills displays some deep emotional hurt since she can only refer to the baby as an it."

"We should think about this innocent baby who is really the victim here and Elizabeth needs to acknowledge the baby as a person."

"Why would she want her children to know all of this about their father?"

"Why is she making it Rielle Hunter's fault that the affair happened because she called him hot?"

Damn,  enough already!

First of all, with that big ass home the Edwards own, don't they have a television?  There's probaby 20 of them scattered around so why wouldn't the children already know that their dad is a no good asshole who cheated on his terminally ill wife even while she stood by his side?

I don't blame Ms. Edwards for calling the baby an "it."  Call me mean, but I can't say that I would be any different.  She didn't ask for all of this humiliation and I'm pretty damn sure she is having trouble accepting the possibility of this being John Edwards' child.   Truth be told, most women would have kicked his sorry ass out after the news broke.  It's not like she needs the money.

We all already know that this book is going to be a bestseller.  Maybe she wrote it to make sure her kids are financially secure in case John loses everything one day behind his whorish ways.

Why now?  Then when?  She's terminally ill and wants everyone to know how she feels.  She has a right to be heard and not just him speaking for her with that good guy look of his (I use to be such a John Edwards fan.)

Why is it that whenever the man screws up, there always a backlash to the woman as if she was either the blame, or if it's later, she is causing trouble for herself.  The sad part is that most of these ridiculous remarks came from OTHER WOMEN!

Leave Elizabeth Edwards Alone!  Let her say whatever the hell she wants to say in HER BOOK.  Let her tell HER STORY with or without a reason.  If it helps heal her hurt feelings, who are we to jump in and stop the process?

If someone cared enough about our past to offer us a book deal, we would be telling our stories too.  You know I'm right.  Where do I sign?

To everyone who doesn't understand why she's doing this,
SHUT THE F%#@ UP.
YOU DON'T NEED TO UNDERSTAND!

Have we ever seen this?

This looks a little strange to me, but I love it!

I guess I'm so use to the first lady tailing behind with the president acting like, "Are you coming?"
